Montenegro

Montenegro is the pearl of the Mediterranean, situated in the south Adriatic. You can hardly find any other country of such size that hides so much natural beauty of mild beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers and gorgeous mountains. Montenegro is really unique in many ways.

WHY VISIT MONTENEGRO:

* Stone carved, hidden and full of stories, Kotor is surely the capital of culture in Montenegro.   The Old Town of Kotor is under UNESCO protection as a world cultural heritage, as it has one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Adriatic. The bay of Kotor, one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea, is sometimes called the southern-most fjord in Europe.

*Sveti Stefan is an unusual and unique place not only in Montenegro or Budva's Riviera, but in the entire Mediterranean. It stands on the cliff of a rocky island with roofs red like elegant rubies. A sand isthmus looking like a stem connects it with the land, and it came into existence in a unique way.

*Lake Skadar National Park is a vast freshwater lake, surrounded by dramatic karst mountains and hosts a thrilling array of wildlife with more than 260 species of birds, traditional fishing villages, islet monasteries and pristine beaches.

*Ostrog Monastery is the place where people belonging to different faiths (Orthodox, Catholic, Muslim…) come. The main reason is the belief in the miracles of the relics of St. Vasilije. Pilgrims say that a prayer in front of the relics aids in swift recovery, or it can lessen the misfortunes of life.

*National park Durmitor is one of best tourist destinations in Montenegro. You will be able to enjoy stunning nature, high mountain peaks, gorgeous forests, and the unique Tara Canyon. Do not miss Durmitor, for this is one of the most unique experiences, offering many activities.
